Maltide Amigo

Matile Amigo is a Chilean mul- tidisciplinary creator, with a Masters in Scenic Practice and Visual Culture from Museo Reina Sofía and Universidad Castilla la Mancha, Madrid (2020). She also graduated in Dance Pedagogy. She currently resides between Chile and Barcelona, developing her creative projects Marcial and Tao Te Queen; and working in arts education. Amigo has been Artist in Residence of La Escocesa (2021-22); Artist-workshop leader of the ‘Creadores en Residencia’ education programme (2021-22); and Artist associated with the Centro de Creación NAVE (Chile) since 2015. As a dancer, she was a member of the Chilean dance com- pany José Vidal & Cía. (2011-19).
