What our students have to say

Unlike other online courses, Amalgama offers a hands-on formative experience that significantly helps process information about a very complex subject. Its exceptional format gives a voice to all students, stimulating debate and reflection. Daniela's open-mindedness and dedication definitely facilitate the engagement of the class participants and leave in them a desire to keep investigating the subjects discussed

Rosita Mariella

I really loved the course. I am especially grateful for the extensive reading material, Daniela's critical perspective and attentive listening. I also loved that the group was small but very participative"

Vanessa Freitag

Thank you so much for this evening´s session and last week´s too. Erudite, and intellectually stimulating, the content is both inspiring and accessible and the suggested readings have opened up a whole new area of study for us to dive into. Really, really enjoying it!

Irene Fanning

The course of Amalgama has been a moment of respite, reflection, dialogue and of much inspiration. Each class has opened new perspectives to lesser-known artists from Latin America, rescuing above all women forgotten in the history of art. As a participant, the horizontality of teaching, the dialogue that breaks the digital barrier and the enthusiasm that Daniela always transmits are appreciated. The combination of the critical theory of readings and artistic examples in class opens a productive space for a critical and extremely necessary reflection when approaching the art of Latin America today. In short, it is a highly recommended course.
