Anita Malfatti
BILINGUAL
In this class, you will learn about the first artist who introduced modernism to Brazil. Her work was so ground-breaking that she was both criticised and treated as mad; whilst also being canonised as the banner for the new Modern aesthetic in the country. However, she rebelled towards all those categories and pursued her own vision, even if it meant swimming against the current her entire life.
